The American giant NIKE continues the celebration of the 35 years of the Air Max 1 started in 2022. After offering several special versions, including the « No Bubble » or the « Magma Orange », the Swoosh brand unveils a variation « Paisley Charms ».
This AM1 revisited has a look both elegant and bold.
It consists of a white mesh upper, complemented by a mudguard and a side Swoosh in off-white nubuck. The originality of the pair is based on the canvas upper overlays adorned with a pastel-colored Paisley print and on the small silver-colored dangling charms added to the back of the heel. The Nike tongue branding also appears as a silver jewel. In the same spirit, the heel ‘Nike Air’ logo and the mini-Swoosh on the toe overlay are embroidered with silver thread. To complete the look, the tongue has a brown cuff and the insole is dressed in orange with a pink Nike branding. The whole is based on a white midsole with an orange Air unit and a semi-translucent outsole featuring a gradient of the pastel colors used on the upper.
The Nike Air Max 1 « Paisley Charms » is expected to be released soon, at selected retailers and nike.com, for a price around $150. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
