Nike Air Max 1 N7

Since 2009, the American giant Nike has been honoring native Americans and their precious heritage through a seasonal collection called N7. After presenting a pack paying tribute to plants and flowers that are part of the Native American heritage in June (article available HERE), a new Air Max 1 N7 was unveiled today by the well-informed account @Py_rates.

Thanks to this N7 collection, the history and cultural richness of the Native American community is highlighted. But that’s not all, Nike donates the profits from sales to Native American organizations and associations to support their many projects related to education, health, sports or employment assistance.

The first silhouette unveiled from this next pack is an Air Max 1.

The shoe is dressed in a shade of brown with inserts featuring motifs honoring the craftsmanship of native Americans. We find a brown-beige satin base with earthy brown suede overlays. The mudguard, heel and emblematic Swoosh side are presented in a pattern referring to traditional quilts (a kind of patchwork blanket meticulously handcrafted) and medallions offered during important ceremonies such as the baptism of a newborn baby. In royal blue, teal, yellow and orange colors, this stitch design gives the illusion of the presence of small pearls. The N7 tongue and Nike Air heel brandings appear in orange. To complete the look, the insole is teal and the laces are beige. The whole is based on a cream midsole and a black and cream outsole with a touch of orange on the toe, finalizing the harmony of the design.

This Nike Air Max 1 N7, as well as the whole of the next N7 pack, should be released before the end of this year 2020… More info soon, stay tuned !
