A l’occasion du Air Max Month 2018, Nike nous a proposé la réédition d’un modèle culte considéré comme un graal par beaucoup de collectionneurs et sneakers addict du monde entier. La sortie de cette Nike Air Max 1 Atmos a suscité un énorme engouement et ce malgré la déception de certains déçus de ne pas retrouver une reproduction exacte du modèle original.
Initialement sortie en 2007, La nouvelle version de la AM1 Animal a subit quelques changements au niveau du toe box qui passe du blanc au noir. Le reste du upper se compose toujours d’empiècements poilus aux différents imprimés de tigre blanc, de léopard, de tigre et de panthère noire. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle en gomme.
Je trouve la paire réussie. Il est vrai que le changement de coloris au niveau du toe box peut surprendre. Mais dans son ensemble, cette AM1 Animal reste assez fidèle au modèle original de 2007. N’ayant pas eu la chance d’avoir le première version, je suis plus que satisfait d’avoir ce félin dans ma collection.

On the occasion of the Air Max Month 2018, Nike has proposed the reissue of a cult model considered a graal by many collectors and addict sneakers from around the world. The release of this Nike Air Max 1 Atmos has generated enormous enthusiasm, despite the disappointment of some disappointed not to find an exact reproduction of the original model.
Originally released in 2007, the new version of the AM1 Animal has undergone some changes in the toe box that goes from white to black. The rest of the upper still consists of hairy inserts with different prints of white tiger, leopard, tiger and black panther. The set is based on a rubber sole.
I find the pair successful. It is true that the change of color at the toe box can surprise. But as a whole, this AM1 Animal remains pretty faithful to the original model of 2007. Not having had the chance to have the first version, I am more than satisfied to have this feline in my collection.
