Nike Air Force 1 Shell

With Halloween and the coldest months of the year approaching, the Swoosh’s brand continues to reinterpret its iconic Air Force 1 silhouette to allow us to face this period comfortably and with style. After a bold Experimental version unveiled a few days ago (article available HERE), Nike reintroduces the Air Force 1 Shell.

The legendary silhouette declined under the name Shell is a high version with the look of boots. It’s inspired by seasonal outerwear. For this upcoming cold season, it’s first offered in 2 colorways, Sail Beige and Provence Purple.

The shoe is composed of a synthetic upper which, unlike textile, accentuates comfort, sturdiness, durability and quick drying. This insulated boot is dressed in a Beige or Provence Purple color block with a side Swoosh and tongue in a lighter shade, and a laceguard and midsole adjacent band in a darker shade. Finishes, including metal eyelets, heel lacing and solid stitching, ensure the look and comfort. To affirm the design, orange branding details are revealed, such as a sewn-in AF1 tag at the eyelet protection and a 1982 Nike AF1 badge on the ankle area. The whole is based on the thick white sole.

The 2 colorways of the Nike Air Force 1 Shell will be released very soon at selected retailers and on nike.com, priced at 150$ per iteration. More info to come, stay tuned !
