The Swoosh brand continues to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Air Force 1 with some interesting collabs and eye-catching reissues (several articles available on this site). The latest to surface is an NIKE Air Force 1 Low reminiscent of the legendary CO.JP « Wheat Mocha » colorway from the early 2000s, but in a « See-Thru » version.

The Beaverton giant has redesigned this iconic pair to give it a surprisingly modern and playful twist.

It consists of a wheat brown suede upper with matching overlays and a mocha brown inner lining. The particularity of the pair lies in the various wavy cutouts on the outside of the foot. On the left shoe, we thus discover a part of Swoosh of faded blue color, associated with a dark brown quarter panel. Also, the mudguard cutout reveals a white base with gold floral patterns. Other cutout styles adorn the right shoe but are not visible in the first released photos. For the rest of the construction, the AF1 retains its mocha/wheat tongue tag, NIKE Air heel branding embroidered in dark brown and its wheat-colored AF1 dubrae. The whole is based on the iconic semi-translucent gum midsole and dark brown rubber outsole that harmoniously finalize the design.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low « Wheat Mocha See-Thru » will be released soon at select retailers and on nike.com. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
