NIKE’s 40th anniversary model, the AIR FORCE 1, is being celebrated through various makeups. While a collab with Italian retailer Slam Jam just surfaced (article available HERE), the Bruce Kilgore designed shoe is offered to us in a « NOLA » colorway.
As the name suggests, this pair pays tribute to New Orleans.
It consists of a white patent leather upper with matching overlays. The look is enhanced by a side Swoosh filled with silver mini sequins and gold-tone elements, such as the Swoosh outlines, metallic eyelets, shiny heel tab, NOLA graphic engraved on the side heel and the oval dubrae adorned with the number « 504 » which corresponds to the code of Louisiana’s capital city. The pair features white laces with metallic gold aglets, a copper tongue tag with gold Nike Air branding and a colored insole in a yellow to red gradient. The whole is based on a traditional white sole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low « NOLA » will be released on November 2, 2022 for $150, at select retailers and on nike.com.
