The Air Force 1 is one of the most exploited and revisited iconic silhouettes of the Swoosh brand. After designing a collaborative iteration with designer Ronnie Fieg to celebrate the imminent opening of the KITH Paris boutique (article available HERE), the American giant is pushing the limits of creativity by presenting us with a tissue paper-covered Air Force 1.
This new version presents a surprising design. The white tissue paper that covers it features a black monogram « AF1 » as well as a print on the side heel expressing the timelessness and popularity of this silhouette : « Time Classic Keep Fresh ». Once the protective cover is removed, we discover a vintage-looking AF1. It consists of an off-white leather upper with tone-on-tone overlays. To harmonize the look, the side swoosh, inner lining, heel tab and laces are also off-white. The whole is based on a yellowed sole that adds the final vintage touch.
