At the beginning of 2023, the American giant NIKE unveils another nice surprise. In addition to the new Air Max 1 « Shima Shima » edition, the Swoosh brand announces the release of the famous Air Force 1 Low « Four Horsemen ».
The Air Force 1 Low « Four Horsemen » was originally released in 2003 to celebrate the signing of LeBron James with NIKE. It pays tribute to the King and his entourage and business partners : Maverick Carter, Rich Paul and Randy Mims, hence the name « Four Horsemen ».
This pair was at the time only reserved for Friends & Family. It will have a very first worldwide release soon.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low « Four Horsemen » is dressed in the colors of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. It consists of a white leather upper with matching overlays. The inspiration is affirmed by dark green elements, such as the grained leather side Swoosh with grey outlines, the inner lining and the inner side of the tongue. On the side heel, we find the green/grey embroidery of the Cavalier chess piece and the heel tabs feature the initials of the 4 horsemen ‘LR/MR’. The whole is based on a two-tone white and green sole that harmoniously finalize the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low « Four Horsemen » is expected to be released during the spring 2023 season at select retailers and nike.com for $150. For updated launch details, stay tuned !
