After giving an overview of an Air Force 1 Low celebrating the upcoming Halloween (article available HERE), the American giant Nike reimagines this iconic silhouette by giving it animal prints. Two versions have surfaced on social networks, a « Daktari » and a « Leopard ».
Both Air Force 1 Low consist of a smooth white leather upper with animal print shaggy suede overlays and a brightly colored side Swoosh. To complete the design, black color is applied to the leather heel tab, inner lining, tag and inner tongue. The laces, tongue and midsole are presented in white.
In terms of the rest of the design, the « Daktari » features an orange Swoosh, tongue and heel branding and insole. The gum outsole matches these elements and the famous Daktari Stripes, originally used on the Dunk silhouette, finalize the look with their beige-honey and brown colors.
The « Leopard » features a light blue Fury side Swoosh and Leopard overlays in shades of grey. The famous blue colorway also defines the tongue and heel brandings, while the insole is dressed in white. A translucent outsole provides the finishing touch.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low « Daktari » & « Leopard » will be released in the coming weeks, at selected retailers and on nike.com, at the usual price of 130$ each.
