For its 40th anniversary, the beloved Air Force 1 continues to be celebrated through exclusive collabs and special pairs. While the version revisited by Drake’s Nike NOCTA sub-label should be released soon (article available HERE), a High Vintage iteration has just surfaced.
This special edition features the OG design from 1982.
The pair created by Bruce Kilgore appears in a high top version and dressed in shades of white with touches of grey.
It consists of a traditional Sail leather upper, complemented by matching mesh mid-panels. The vintage look is enhanced by a tonal Velcro tongue strap, black and orange Nike Air branding on the tongue and insole, and a grey side Swoosh. The grey colorway was also chosen to define the embroidered Nike Air on the heel tab and cover the rubber outsole. A retro yellowed midsole adds the finishing touch.
The Nike Air Force 1 High Vintage « Sail » will be released in the coming weeks, at selected retailers and on nike.com, for 130$.
