NIKE AIR FORCE 1 “DREW LEAGUE”

Nike has decided to pay tribute to the Drew league through one of its most iconic silhouettes : the Air Force 1 Low.

First of all, what is the Drew League?

The Drew League is a Pro-Am basketball league located in California and more precisely in Los Angeles. It was founded in 1973 and began to gain popularity in the 80s. Beyond the competitive aspect, seeing some of the NBA stars coming to participate in the summer, the league aims to open different options for development and discovery to the children of Los Angeles through sport.

From 2013, Nike joined the event by sponsoring it every year. The income generated by ticket sales is donated to the foundation created by the Drew League.

The pair consists of a white leather upper. It features the reference « Drew League » embroidered on the heel, tongue and insole. The whole is based on a totally white sole.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low « Drew League » will be available on June 6th at selected retailers for 140€
