Like Jordan Brand, the equipment manufacturer Nike will be re-releasing cult models in the new year 2022. Originally released in 1992, the Nike Air Flight Mid « Olympic » will make a comeback as part of its 30th anniversary.
The pair, formerly known as the Air Flight Lite II, was a sensation on Scottie Pippen’s feet at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. Fans of the pair and of the six-time NBA champion will be thrilled to see this version re-released for the first time since its launch.
It retains its patriotic red, white and blue look. It consists of a white perforated leather upper with navy blue accents on the side Swoosh, tongue, inner lining, front side clip, heel branding and outsole. To complete the design, the eyelets are dressed in red and details come in gold, to reference the Olympics and especially the most coveted medal. A red insole and a white midsole bring the final touch.
The Nike Air Flight Lite Mid « Olympic » will be released soon, at selected retailers and on nike.com, at a price of 120$.
