Nice Kicks x Reebok Kamikaze II Low « NBA Jam »

Nice Kicks continues to bring its touch to iconic silhouettes of major sportswear brands. After a recent Asics GEL-Lyte III special and a revisited adidas Ultraboost (articles available on this site), Matt Halfhill and his team partnered with Reebok for a brand new edition of Kamikaze II Low.

Through this shoe, Nice Kicks pays tribute to the famous arcade game of the 90s, « NBA JAM ».

It features the franchise’s iconic color palette of black, teal, red and purple. The sneaker features a black suede base, enhanced by zig-zag overlays featuring a black and grey speckled graphic pattern referencing the television « visual snow ». To affirm the collab, a vintage Nice Kicks logo adorns the tongue, the Reebok vector is embroidered in red on the side of the toe box and former NBA basketball player Shawn Kemp’s signature appears below the ankle. A black tongue and inner lining, as well as purple laces and a side insert complete the look. The whole is based on a teal and black performance sole. The pair comes with another set of black laces, in a special imitation wood box featuring the co-branding.

The Nice Kicks x Reebok Kamikaze II Low « NBA Jam » will be released in the coming weeks at select retailers, shopnicekicks.com and reebok.com, for 120$. More info to come, stay tuned !
