The British reference retailer END. presents its new shop. Building on the success of its previous stores, the retailer has commissioned design company BRINKWORTH to create this new flagship store located in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Adam Brinkworth, CEO of Brinkworth commented : « I admire END’s commitment to physical retail locations, as each store enriches the relationship with its community of customers. Despite the brand’s global success, END. is still dedicated to its local and loyal customers, and this return to their hometown of Newcastle, after the brand’s first store opened over 15 years ago, is a true testament to that commitment. »
END. is locating in one of the city’s most iconic buildings. Originally built in 1902-1904 by W.H. Knowles and T.& R. Milburn on the site of the former Royal Exchange Hotel, the building is a Grade II listed building and was the former home of the legendary Mawson, Swan & Morgan. The shop retains its Edwardian frontage with its original partition walls. The building occupies a prominent position on Grey Street, a street famous for its architecture resulting from the giant Corinthian order.
With a beautiful surface of 13700 square foot on 3 floors, the design of this new store remains faithful to that of London and Glasgow. We find a high-end material palette including marble, stainless steel, mirror and maple wood. Brinkworth has created large monolithic landscapes with signature immaculate details. The shop gets a refined layout and an ambiance perfect for welcoming a public eager to discover END’s wide multi-brand offering.
The basement is dedicated to streetwear and skate sneakers. There is also a launch area that can be entrusted to brands for exclusive releases.
On the first floor, we are presented with a complete selection of contemporary and classic fashion brands. On the second floor, luxury fashion products and a wide selection of beauty and lifestyle products are offered.
The new END. Newcastle upon Tyne is now open. It’s located at 104-108 Grey Street (NE1 6JG, UK). The physical spaces and the online sales at endclothing.com are in perfect harmony. Product launches of END. Newcastle will be coming soon via the END app. Don’t forget to download it if you haven’t already done so and go visit the new shop if you’re around !
