Close for several years, the Japanese reference shop ATMOS and the American equipment manufacturer NEW BALANCE present new colorways of the popular NB 2002R silhouette. In addition to the beige/purple version unveiled a few hours ago (article available HERE), 2 new itérations have surfaced.
These 2 new versions have an elegant and timeless look.
Named « Black Fig » and « Navy », they are presented in a combination of their titular color, respectively fig purple and navy blue, with the signature grey of New Balance. In terms of materials, these 2 pairs consist of a high-quality mesh base, complemented by matching suede overlays. NB’s classic, reflective grey is found in the key elements of the New Balance silhouettes : the side N logo and toe box detailing. The heel tab and branding inscriptions on the tongue and heel appear in white. Both pairs feature a cream N ERGY and ABZORB technology midsole coupled with a light grey outsole.
The New Balance M2002R « Black Fig » & « Navy » will have a different launch. The « Navy » version will be Japan Exclusive, only available at ATMOS and New Balance stores in Japan from February 25, 2022. The « Black Fig » iteration will be released on March 12, 2022, in ATMOS stores and online at atmos-tokyo.com. The price is set at 140$ each (¥16280). Don’t sleep !
