A little over a year ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the first collaboration between the Parisian restaurant Paperboy and the American sports brand New Balance. Specialists of quality sandwiches, they were inspired by one of the elements often used in the elaboration of their delicious dishes : Eggs.
Having finally been able to cop it after more than a year of research, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
The shoe consists of a white mesh upper with white leather and beige suede overlays. This base is enhanced by bright yellow accents and reflective inserts, especially on the branding details like the iconic side N. The PAPERBOY logo appears on the back of the heel. We also discover a « Flat Egg » logo on the tongue. The whole is based on a white midsole with touches of cream and a silver heel clip with the New Balance inscription. A white outsole harmoniously finalizes the design.
I find this sneaker successful in all respects. First, the theme is largely respected with a shoe reminding very well the fried egg. Then, the quality of materials, the quality of finishes and the distribution of colors seem perfectly realized. You will have understood, this French collaboration is 100% validated.
