A few months ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the collaboration between the American designer Joe Freshgoods and the sneakers brand New Balance. Having finally found this special NB 990v3 in my size, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
The retro looking runner is inspired by a personal fact of Joe dating back to the late 90s. It consists of a bright blue mesh upper with suede overlays in 2 shades of brown. The side N logo appears in pool blue and the brown laces are embellished with small patterns reminiscent of trail shoes. To complete the design, we discover a light brown leather tongue with an embossed grill pattern, as well as grass green accents on the heel clip, upper eyelets and tongue branding. The whole is based on a brown and blue Encap technology midsole with a white upper clip. A brown rubber outsole provides the final harmonious touch.
As you can imagine, I validate in 100% this collaboration. Indeed, I find the CW successful. The different shades of brown associated with blue and small touches of green fit perfectly for a fresh and summery result. What to say about the quality which is just at the top with « Made in USA » of any beauty. I can only advise you to try to get this must-have.
