A few weeks ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the latest collaboration between New Balance and Bodega. Named « Age of Discovery », this exclusive release aims to honor the old and usher in the new. According to BODEGA legend, this collaborative NB 9060 is « a blend of yesterday’s artifacts and tomorrow’s vision in a today’s sneaker. »
Having been lucky enough to receive it in advance, I suggest you to discover it in pictures at my feet.
This special NB 9060 sports a natural color palette, based on blue with touches of beige, grey and brown. It fconsists of a mixed mesh upper with smooth suede, perforated suede and hairy suede. On one side of the foot, the iconic N logo appears in classic grey, and on the other side it’s defined by eggplant-colored embroidery details. This hue also stands out on the TPU upper eyelets. An additional touch of color is provided by a triangular and neon yellow tongue branding. To affirm the collab, the co-branding appears only on the insole. The whole is based on a white/cream/grey midsole equipped with ABZORB and SBS, and a gum outsole.
The Bodega X New Balance 9060 « Age of Discovery » will be released on December 10, 2022 at noon (12pm EST), priced at $180 on Boston’s bdgastore.com on a first come, first served basis. Be ready and good luck !
