Two days ago, New Balance announced the expansion of its successful 2002R « Refined Future » collection (article available HERE). The « Protection Pack », as it is more commonly called, is enriched with 6 new colorways, 3 of which will soon be available in the German shop AFEW.
These are the « Vintage Orange », « Mirage Grey » and « Dark Navy » versions.
This special NB 2002R sports a signature deconstructed look and features an upper that blends premium materials.
The 2022 series appears under the name « Pig Suede Pack », referring to the upper design that combines mesh and pig suede. The pair is adorned with retro details, reflective accents and a premium textile inner lining. The whole is based on a two-tone N-Ergy midsole and a darker rubber outsole.
The New Balance 2002R « Vintage Orange », « Mirage Grey » and « Dark Navy » from the « Pig Suede Pack » will be available at AFEW on April 1, 2022 via a raffle set up at de.afew-store.com. Sizesrun US 5 to US 13 and price set at 150€. Good luck !
