New Balance, who had a real success with the NB 2002R “Protection pack”, comes back today with the same idea on a silhouette with a retro and sharp look : the New Balance 1906D. Having had the chance to discover the latter with the famous collaboration between Size? and New Balance (article available HERE), I was eager to discover this gray colorway with unstructured inserts.
Having had the chance to receive it thanks to my partner FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
It’s composed of a thick breathable mesh upper in grey color complemented by matching suede overlays. The pair is also adorned with white inserts, such as the front reinforcement, heel counter and upper eyelets. The iconic N logo on the side is adorned with the name of the lacing system ‘Nlock’ and is dressed in a stylish grey/silver color. A nice touch of contrast is provided by the light grey inner lining and off-white laces. The whole is based on an off-white midsole and a black rubber outsole that harmoniously finalize the design.
