The Japanese streetwear label NEIGHBORHOOD and the German equipment manufacturer ADIDAS unveil a new part of their interesting collaboration. After reinterpreting the famous NMD R1 model earlier this year, Shinsuke Takizawa and his team brought their touch to the promising ADIMATIC.
NEIGHBORHOOD dresses up the skateboarder’s favorite shoe in their favorite colors : black and grey.
These hues appear in different dosages depending on the version.
On the 1st iteration, which is predominantly black, the suede upper is accented with gray 3-Stripes that match the « teeth » on the front and back of the thick midsole.
The 2nd iteration features a grey shaded design, with the band around the foot in the darker shade. Unlike the 3-Stripes, which come in a very light grey near white.
Oversized laces with a nod to 90’s skateshoes, a little text printed on the side of the sole and the NEIGHBORHOOD branding added on the heel finalize the special look of these collaborative pairs.
