National Park Foundation x adidas ZX 10000C « Crater Lake »

In line with its investment in sustainability and environmental protection, ADIDAS has once again teamed up with the National Park Foundation. The two partners present a special version of the ZX 10000 silhouette, inspired by Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, USA.

The National Park Foundation is an American charity founded in 1967, which works to preserve the American national parks. With this collaboration, the two partners pay tribute to Crater Lake National Park, characterized by the presence of the deepest lake in the United States (592 m deep).

The sneaker designed by Jacques Chassaing is dressed in a color palette representing the lake and its environment. We find shades of blue, 2 variations of grey and pink accents. It’s composed of an upper mixing suede, mesh and leather on a nylon CORDURA base. The tribute to Crater Lake appears on the tongue label : the adidas brand name is replaced by a patch with a graphic of the famous lake. The name of the National Park Foundation is emblazoned on the heel tab and adorns the insole alongside the traditional adidas Trefoil. The whole is based on a light grey midsole and a navy blue outsole, harmoniously finalizing the design.

The National Park Foundation x adidas ZX 10000C « Crater Lake » will be released on May 22, 2021 in Europe and soon in the US at select retailers and on adidas.com. The advertised price is 140$.
