Mizuno Wave Rider 10

Japanese shoe manufacturer MIZUNO is always looking for research and innovation to improve its technical and lifestyle footwear lines. Since the launch of the Wave Rider in 1998, the teams have worked tirelessly to present us each year a superior version modernized. Used as a basis for interesting collaborations (various articles available on this site), the Wave Rider 10 silhouette is unveiled today in 2 eye-catching colorways.

In 2007, Mizuno conducted a consumer survey called « Kansei Engineering » to learn about the habits of runners. The analysis led to the development of the Wave Rider 10, a shoe that embodies the brand’s pursuit of perfection. Its aggressive look, coupled with Made in Japan innovation, represents a perfect balance between quality, aesthetics and technical performance.

23 years after the release of the Wave Rider 1, Mizuno offers us the 10th version, the Wave Rider 10, in red/white/silver or black/white/silver. Modern and retro colorways, combining technical features and trendy design.

The shoes feature a two-tone breathable mesh upper, white/red or white/black depending on the iteration, with smooth grey leather overlays. On both pairs, we find silver accents that ensure the reference to the Japanese brand’s performance heritage, while also fitting in with current fashion trends. To complete the look, the Run Bird logo sits proudly on the quarter panel, not far from the model name affixed in white. The whole is based on a white performance midsole with touches of grey, coupled with a black outsole.

The Mizuno Wave Rider 10 red/white/silver and black/white/silver are already available at select retailers, such as Footpatrol and SNS, for 140$.
