A few days ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the new collaboration between Mizuno and Highsnobiety. This exclusive project was done on the famous Wave Rider 10 and follows the Highsnobiety x Wave Rider 1 « Phoenix » released in 2018.
Having been lucky enough to receive it, I suggest you to discover it in images at my feet.
This exclusive Wave Rider 10 is adorned with a stylish design inspired by « white balance » and « light dispersion ». Mostly in shades of off-white, it’s adorned with subtle contrasting red and light blue details.
The sneaker consists of a semi-transparent white technical ripstop monofilament mesh upper. This base is enhanced by numerous premium suede overlays, including the side Runbird, in various shades of off-white. These overlays are sewn onto the overlay to assert the homage-to-craft look. The tongue appears in off-white mesh and features a matching suede patch embossed with the HS logo. The German media brand’s logo also appears on the TPU heel patches, which are colored red for the right foot and light blue for the left foot. The mismatched insoles match this heel jewel, so the one on the right foot is red and the one on the left foot is blue. An off-white premium pigskin leather inner lining, two small red lace loops sewn onto the tongue and touches of red and blue on the off-white midsole complete the design. The whole is based on a black outsole with a discreet red section under the midfoot.
