A few months ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the latest collaboration between the PATTA teams and the Japanese brand Mizuno. After 2 first versions on the Sky Medal released in 2019 and 2020, they decided to offer a third version on the same silhouette.
Having had the chance to receive it thanks to Mizuno Europe, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
This exclusive Sky Medal has a color palette that matches the recent Patta collections. Dressed in ivory, red and green, it’s also inspired by the style of the 90’s sneakers, which combined neutral/understated shades with bold colorful touches.
This latest Sky Medal revisited thus marries vintage and modern look, sport and lifestyle. Made in Italy, it consists of an upper mixing suede and leather. The ivory colored base features perforations and green overlays. The iconic Run Bird logo on the side adds a touch of contrast with its flashy red color and purple outlines. The famous retro Purple colorway is also used to define the embroidered MIZUNO logos on the honey beige leather tongue and heel. The Patta brand appears in white embroidered alongside the Run Bird tongue. Honey beige finishes on the upper eyelets and green round laces ensure a harmonious design. The whole is based on a comfortable ivory midsole, coupled with a white rubber outsole.
Having adhered to the previous editions, I had to pick up this new colorway in which we strongly find the DNA of Patta, with strong colors associated with classic colors. As usual with Mizuno, the quality is there. For me, it’s really a must-have in a Mizuno collection.
