Equipment manufacturer Reebok continues to celebrate animated film stars. After featuring the characters from Toy Story on the Instapump Fury silhouette (article available HERE), Reebok introduces a duo of sneakers that refer to the endearing little yellow creatures, the Minions. A pack composed of an Instapump Fury and a Club C has been unveiled.
Both pairs of shoes are essentially adorned in a bold yellow color with a touch of blue, corresponding to the appearance of the Minions. We also find fluorescent apple green and metallic silver details scattered across the upper.
The sturdy Instapump Fury has its pump button modified to refer to the big eyes of the friendly Minions. Blue and green accents, such as the tongue and sides of the shoe, are reversed on each foot. The tongue and heel straps appear two-tone, blue and green, ensuring a matching. The whole is based on a yellow midsole and a blue and green bicolor outsole.
The classic Club C in yellow leather is embellished with a blue tongue and a neon apple-green border under the ankle. The specially modified Reebok brand appears on the metallic silver heel insert. The inscription « Minion Powered » on the heel counter completes the design. The whole is based on a white midsole combined with a fluorescent apple green outsole with the part under the heel in Brown color.
On both silhouettes, we discover insoles covered with a print representing the huge Minions team. For Club C, this print goes up to the collar of the shoe.
The Minions x Reebok Instapump Fury & Club C are announced for October 1, 2020, at selected retailers and on Reebok.com. These pairs should come out in full family sizes. Prices have not yet been released, stay tuned…
