The famous Nike Air Huarache silhouette celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Already reinterpreted by the equipment manufacturer itself or in collaboration with big names of the streerwear (various articles available on this site), it appears today in the colors of the soccer club of Liverpool, the Liverpool FC.
This shoe pays tribute to the fans of this English soccer club who don’t hesitate to go to the stadium and wave the red, white and gold flag of the team every week, despite the bad weather.
The white and red checkerboard pattern covers the iconic neoprene bootie with solid red side panels and a vertical yellow stripe down the tongue. To highlight these elements, the toe box, leather overlays and midsole are presented in bright white. The iconic TPU heel pull and outsole provide contrast with their black color. As a special detail, the tongue and heel tab brandings are affixed to interchangeable Velcro labels, which can honor both Nike and Liverpool FC. To finalize the tribute, the red insole is adorned with a co-branded label and the pair comes in a special black box.
