Fundraising organized by La Boîte Collector shop

Lille’s iconic streetwear shop, LA BOITE COLLECTOR, is betting on innovation and action to give back to the community and spread street culture. After launching its own textile brand called “LBC Clothing” at the end of last year, the iconic store in the north of France unveils its new project : the implementation of a 360° business regrouping all the fields around urban cultures within a unique entity.

To accomplish this next challenge, LA BOITE COLLECTOR is organizing a fundraising with an amount of 60 000€ and a valuation of 360 000€.

With this financing, Gérald Toumson and his team wish to link the worlds of fashion, sports, music and graphic arts. In exchange for their investment, participants will receive, beyond the traditional rewards of dividends on the company’s results in proportion to the amount invested, or the possibility of realizing a capital gain when they resell their shares. They will also become a member of the LBC community and will have privileges such as VIP access to events, exclusive access to limited edition sales and advantages concerning raffles.

The LA BOITE COLLECTOR team commented “Our specificity is to federate a community in our different domains (…) We want to preserve the diversity of creation among developing artists in the era of concentration, and to bring together all the links of the production chain through a hybrid model. And all this, within the same structure. Finally, we also organize events around music and sports. Our objective is to be at the heart of creation. Always in development, we remain attentive to our market in order to renew our services and offer other services.”

These areas of focus at LA BOITE COLLECTOR all have an impact in the current French landscape, it’s a thriving market. For example, the cultural sector can contribute more than 10% of the GDP to the economy, and streetwear fashion is experiencing strong popular interest, creating jobs and even taking hold in high fashion. The LBC (La boîte & Co) holding consists of bringing together different consumers from outside markets linked to urban cultures. Sports activities are also increasingly popular and are promoted by the authorities to raise awareness about the dangers of physical inactivity. With the creation of the LBC Running Club, LA BOITE COLLECTOR is committed to the community and motivates its members to take care of their physical and mental health. In this regard, the LBC Running Club will participate in the Lille Marathon which will take place in early September 2023.

LA BOITE COLLECTOR differentiates itself from other stores thanks to its increased knowledge of urban cultures, the streetwear market and its investment in its community. Founded in 2012 by Gérald Toumson, a former professional basketball player with a passion for street culture, the store is known to be a true reference in terms of rare and exclusive products, even earning the nickname “Temple of the sneaker”.
