The famous French brand LACOSTE continues to create models combining the world of fashion and sport. After presenting the L003 Active Runway last October, the label founded by René Lacoste unveils its newest silhouette : the L003 NEO.
This new model is defined as « the perfect symbol of Lacoste’s advance in the fusion between fashion and sport ».
The L003 NEO draws its primary inspiration from the tennis ball, literally and figuratively. It focuses on exceptional ‘bounce’ performance and is styled to represent bouncing through lines, time, boundaries and constant movement, both on the court and in everyday life.
This silhouette marks the change, constant innovation and dynamism of Lacoste. It celebrates the technical specifics of sportswear and sports culture, while corresponding to a ‘designer’ shoe.
The sneaker consists of a neoprene and mesh upper with perforations and a modern multi-layered layering style. The side panels feature LACOSTE branding in a print-like fashion with short text. The legendary ‘crocodile’ logo stands out on the side heel. Lots of subtle details reminiscent of high fashion influence, thick round laces, and a comfortable tapered lug sole complete the design.
This model comes in a total of 9 colorsway. 4 unisex : tennis ball yellow, orange, beige, black ; 3 dedicated to men : off white/green, brown, navy and 2 for women : pink and teal. It’s highlighted in the lookbook by emerging musical artists, Ella Mai and Midwxst.
The Lacoste L003 NEO is available since February 1, 2023 at a price of 130€ ($142) per pair, in stores and online at lacoste.com, as well as at selected retailers around the world. Let’s go !
