A few days ago, the French Lille-based shop LA BOITE COLLECTOR presented its new project : the development of its own textile line named « LBC Clothing ». To accompany these attractive clothes, the famous store has partnered with Adrien Wira’s brand SOLE ARCHITECTS to design a sneaker model named SA2.51222L.
Created in 2012 in Lille, the LA BOITE COLLECTOR store is a true temple of basketball, in an atypical setting where a real culture is hidden. With the slogan and way of life ‘Notre Culture n’est pas une mode’ (‘Our Culture is not a fashion’), the shop offers exclusive models, original, rare products and limited editions for all budgets. Encouraging other fashion and sneaker enthusiasts to create their own style and let their imagination run wild, the team of la BOITE COLLECTOR has teamed up with the new brand SOLE ARCHITECTS to design an original pair of sneakers.
SOLE ARCHITECTS was founded in 2019 by another sneaker lover Adrien Wira who previously worked for big companies like Balmain, adidas or even Anta. This enthusiast seeks to offer a unique qualitative product to his customers. He manages all areas of SOLE ARCHITECT, from design to product launch.
In collaboration with LA BOITE COLLECTOR, Adrien Wira has developed the SA2.51222L model. LA BOITE COLLECTOR explains on its Instagram account the meaning of the model’s name : SA= Sole Architects, 2 = 2nd model, 5= 5 pieces, 12 = Participants, 22= The year 2022 andt L= Lille, their city.
This exclusive silhouette is handcrafted from premium materials and will be limited to 150 pieces worldwide.
It consists of a suede, leather and nylon upper in shades of pink, black, white and green. The toe box in perforated velvet suede in Tea rose color is adorned with the L.B.C logo at the mudguard and the black nylon quarter panel features the white branding ‘SOLE ARCHITECTS LDT EDITION’. To complete the design, the sides feature white grained leather inserts and pink suede overlays. A black suede heel reinforcement with a white and grey leather heel tab secure the design. Great attention to detail is evident in various touches, including the 2 brands’ logos and symbols emblazoned on the heel, the LBC branding embroidered in pink on the green suede tongue, and the silver ‘150 pcs’ inscription on the lace loop. To top it off, the pair features Braille lettering on the black TPU heel stabilizer and the insoles feature LA BOITE COLLECTOR’s slogan : ‘Notre Culture’ on the left foot, ‘n’est pas une mode.’ on the right foot. A comfortable, performance black speckled EVA midsole with a green section under the heel and a white outsole with khaki grey accents finish the look off sharply.
The pair will be slipped into an elegant black shoe bag branded LBC in white and delivered in a special co-branded box with this refined design.
Limited to 150 copies worldwide, THE COLLECTOR x SOLE ARCHITECTS SA2.51222L box will be released soon at a price of 199€ ($200) and sizes ranging from EU 40 to EU 46 (US 7 to US 12), in store at 51 Rue Pierre Mauroy, 59000 Lille and online at laboitecollector.com. Stay tuned !
