Kris Brown signs with adidas Skateboarding

The Skateboading division of the German giant adidas welcomes a new personality : the 21-year-old professional skateboarder based in Philadelphia, Kris Brown. He joins ADIDAS Skateboarding’s first global team. To announce this signing, Kris Brown participated in a photoshoot wearing the famous reinvented Forum 84 ADV.

This silhouette was originally designed for the adidas basketball line. Currently, it’s being brought back into the spotlight through stylish or bold collaborations with famous global sneaker retailers (several articles available on this site).

The new Forum 84 ADV, worn by the pro skateboarder, has been reinvented with a contemporary design and skateboarding-specific updates. These upgrades are made to enhance performance and appeal to a whole new generation of skateboarders and designers.

The shoe is presented in 2 colorways : off-white or dark brown. It consists of a leather upper, complemented by a thick suede overlay on the forefoot and reinforcements on the sides to ensure comfort and durability. To bring a neat and stylish look to this sneaker, these inserts appear to match the upper, as do the breathable mesh tongue, inner lining and laces. The different parts of the sole have been reworked to increase comfort and feel on the board. The shoe features a molded ADIPRENE insole, a high quality EVA midsole (matching the upper) and a high grip rubber outsole.

The adidas Forum 84 ADV highlighted by Kris Brown, is available for 100$ per colorway, in selected skateshops and online at adidas.com/skateboarding.
