The New York designer from Queens, Ronnie Fieg, unveils a collaboration with the Californians from Vans through his summer 2020 KITH collection. Two revisited versions of the Vans OG Classic Slip-On LX are presented to us.
For years, KITH shops have been offering a wide range of Vans items. After a first association last year, the two brands met again to offer us these two new pairs with a neat and warm style, ideal for the summer.
These shoes consist of a white canvas upper covered with Moroccan zellige patterns. This print is inspired by colored earthenware tiles, cut and assembled to obtain beautiful multicolored geometric shapes. One pair has a predominance of terracotta colour with ochre and blue accents. While the other version is mainly Mediterranean blue with touches of yellow and crimson. To affirm the elegance of these Slip-On, we find white padded collars and an insole in the same colour, with blue co-branding. The whole is based on a white vulcanized sole.
The design of these shoes also appears on some textile items of the KITH summer 2020 collection. The latter is composed of more than 70 pieces, we also discover bandana prints, feather prints and plain colours always in line with the Mediterranean aestheticism combined with the Kith basics.
The two KITH x VANS Slip-on, from the KITH summer 2020 collection, will be available on Saturday 27th June at 11am EST, like the rest of the collection, in the KITH boutiques and on Kith.com.
