A few weeks ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the latest collaboration between the brand KITH and the sports brand Nike. It’s on the famous Air Force 1 silhouette that the talented New York designer Ronnie Fieg worked to offer us a new colorway in a vintage style of the 90s.
It consists of a black leather upper with tonal overlays and touches of blue and orange. The iconic Swoosh on the sides of the foot is presented in semi-translucent TPU and mismatched color. It’s dressed in blue on the lateral side and orange on the medial side. The colorful embellishments are also found on the tongue tag and the heel tab featuring the KITH branding. To complete the look and reference, a white and orange « NYC » embroidery adorns the heel counter. The whole is based on a white midsole coupled with a semi-translucent icy outsole, elegantly completing the design.
The Air Force 1 is one of my favorite Nike silhouettes. Personally, I immediately embraced the project proposed by Ronnie Fieg. The color, the big orange and blue swooshes of the New York Knicks have immediately awakened in me memories of NBA of the 90s. So I validate in 100% this collaboration which will have a place of choice in my collection.
