KITH X Nike Air Force 1 « France »

Ronnie Fieg is obviously gifted in the field of design, but he is also very good at celebrating events. The Queens native never ceases to surprise us by unveiling unexpected high-end projects. In July, the founder of KITH had realized a collaboration with Nike based on the iconic Air Force 1 Low, in connection with the opening of his first flagship store in Japan. Today it seems that the talented designer has reworked this cult silhouette to celebrate the launch of the KITH store in the Parisian capital. A AF1 « France » is presented to us today.

The shoe is a tribute to Paris and the French flag. It is dressed mainly in white, with subtle blue and red accents.

The sneaker consists of a pure white premium quality leather upper with tone-on-tone overlays. The side swoosh, tongue and laces are also dressed in white. The side panels feature the KITH monogram logo in relief, adding cachet to the pair. To assert the top-of-the-range design, the inner lining is made of velvet and comes in navy blue. The mini-Swoosh on the mudguard is embroidered in blue, white and red, a nod to the French tricolour flag. The co-brandings on the tongue label also appear in the shape and colours of the French flag. This carefully crafted pair features special details such as the prints on the insole and the KITH AIR and NIKE AIR heel logos revisited in the Ronnie Fieg style. The whole is based on a yellowed vintage sole, thus finalizing the design.

The release of KITH x Nike Air Force 1 « France » will be linked to the opening date of the first KITH Paris shop, probably before the end of 2020. Stay tuned !
