KITH x Converse Chuck 70 « 10th anniversary »

Ronnie Fieg honors the 10th anniversary of his successful brand KITH with a new iconic collaboration. The famed Queens designer reunited with his strong partner CONVERSE to reinterpret the classic Chuck 70 silhouette.

With a strong connection to his hometown, Ronnie Fieg recently helped renovate a local basketball court and reinterpreted college jackets for the New York Knicks as part of the 10-year celebration of his streetwear brand KITH. He also released a book called « The KXTH Book » (« X » (10 in Roman numerals) in place of the « I » to commemorate the 10th anniversary) that chronicles the milestones of his label and highlights the various collaborators and friends (articles available on this site).

KITH resumes its ongoing partnership with Converse and presents us with 2 new versions of the timeless Chuck 70.

Available in black or white, this shoe has a canvas base covered with a combination of all the KITH logos created over the last 10 years. These designs are asymmetrical and also appear on the eyelet and tongue area. To accentuate the look, the traditional Converse circular badge at the ankle is replaced with a Velcro patch featuring the anniversary logo « KITH 2011-2021 ». The whole is based on a yellowed vintage sole with Converse branding on the back and KXTH on the side.

The pairs will come in special black packaging with white co-branding : a dustbag and the box.

The KITH x Converse Chuck 70 « 10th anniversary » will be released in different ways. The black version will be available to the general public as part of KITH’s upcoming Monday Program on November 1, 2021 at 11am, in stores and on kith.com for 130$. The white iteration was made in a limited edition of 72 pieces and will be offered to randomly selected online customers who purchased the black colorway.
