After ending 2022 with a collaboration with legendary French brand Salomon, KITH kicks off 2023 with an eye-catching « Monday Program ». The brand of talented designer Ronnie Fieg has teamed up with OTAKARA NYC to redesign the Apollo Oxford shirt.

OTAKARA NYC means « treasure » in Japanese. This brand was founded by Satoshi Suzuki in New York. It draws its inspiration from the nostalgia of the past in Japan and the United States. Satoshi Suzuki designs high-end pieces that reference various vintage styles and handcrafted techniques.

KITH worked with this local brand to give the Apollo Oxford shirt a new look. With the OTAKARA NYC touch, this 100% cotton oxford shirt has a fresh, handcrafted aesthetic. Available in white or light blue, the shirt is adorned with colorful graphic embroidery inspired by the different locations of KITH stores around the world.

Among others, we find ‘New York City’ with a red apple embroidery, ‘Hawaii’ with a palm tree and waves, ‘Los Angeles’ in purple with a yellow skateboard, or ‘Paris’ associated with the Eiffel Tower, as well as the OKTARA NYC for KITH & KIN NYC branding affixed on the green Statue of Liberty embroidery. The shirt also features a buttoned chest pocket with yellow smiley face embroidery and dark brown KITH branding. A yellow apple embroidery on the collar and the co-branded internal label finalize the design.

The Otakara NYC x KITH Apollo Oxford shirt, available in 2 colorways, will be released on January 9, 2023 at 11am as part of KITH’s upcoming « Monday Program » in stores, on the KITH app and online at kith.com. The price is set at $195 per piece. Be ready !
