KEVIN BRADLEY X NIKE SB “KEVIN AND HELL”

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Kevin Bradley is a talented skateboarder from Los Angeles sponsored by famous brands such as Supreme, Fucking Awesome or Thunder. He has also had a close relationship with the SB division of Nike for a few years now. This athlete has a double attitude : a nonchalant flow combined with an extreme application when he does his tricks.

It’s also on a duality that this Californian skateboarder and the designers of Nike SB Orange Label were inspired to create a collection called « Kevin And Hell » including two pairs of shoes.

The theme is : heaven or hell ? Mid or Low ? Blue or Red ? Difficult to choose… So the partners decided not to decide, they offer us their two versions : A Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low AC XT ISO with the idea of heaven and a Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Iso with the colors associated with hell.

The « celestial » Low iteration consists of a suede upper combining four colours. Deep blue on the outer sides, sky blue on the inner sides, white to cover the tongue, the top of the heel and the side Swoosh with wavy contours, giving it a cloudlike appearance. We find the colour black on the toe, the inner lining, the Nike KB branding label (the skateboarder’s initials replace the usual SB) and on the three velcro strips. As for the details, white and blue cloud patterns decorate the insole and on the back of the heel, there is a raindrop shaped logo. The whole is based on a comfortable, high-performance sole in white color.

As an anecdote, Bradley says that due to laziness, he uses pairs of velcros rather than laces, sometimes even leaving his velcros open for maximum comfort without exerting himself. Also, the idea of the drop on the heel is a little nod to his grandmother who likes the rain.

The Mid « hell » variation consists of a bright red suede velvet upper over most of the shoe. Black elements stand out on the upper : the nubuck Swoosh, the top of the heel, the laces and the tongue with the same branding label, modified for the occasion, as on the Low model. At the back of the heel, we discover a round shape embroidered with red and yellow threads that can make you think of strange eyes or the drawing of a target. In any case, this particularity reinforces the « hell » side of the shoe. The whole is based on a black vulcanized and textured rubber sole.

The Kevin Bradley x Nike SB « Kevin And Hell » collection will be released on May 30, 2020, at Orange Label skateshops such as Caliroots or Milk.

The price is set at 85€ and 95€ depending on the model.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”33025″ img_size=”fucll”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
