Kerwin Frost unveils a new collaboration with the German giant adidas. After bringing his eccentric touch to the Superstar and Forum silhouettes (articles available on this site), the New York artist revisits the Microbounce T1.
The adidas Microbounce T1 is special, just like the Harlem artist, DJ, comedian and talk show host. It’s adorned with a bold, performance Microbounce midsole inspired by 2000s technology. Kerwin Frost accentuates this out-of-this-world style with a makeover of this sneaker.
It consists of an azure blue faux fur upper with a matching tongue and plush laces. This « fictional animal » look is completed by furry eyelets and silver 3-Stripes. To affirm the collab, white Kerwin Frost branding adorns the tongue tag. The Microbounce cushioning units appear in blue and the outsole is tinted white to finish off the design seamlessly.
