The famous Japanese brand SACAI continues to invite strong artistic personalities to rework its collaborations with Nike. After having offered us special LDWaffle designed with UNDERCOVER, Clot or Fragment (articles available on this site), the label of Chitose Abe unveils a 3rd version of the Nike Blazer Low reinterpreted by KAWS.
The American artist designer Brian Donnelly, known worldwide as KAWS, has already brought his triple collaborative touch. For this 3rd opus, the maximalist style of the designer is kept and the bold color of the leather base abandoned. After blue and red colorways, this new Blazer Low is dressed in a more neutral tone in a shade of khaki beige. We find Sacai’s signature lined elements appearing in contrasting colors, such as the overlapping pink and pastel blue eyelets and the cream and royal blue double side Swoosh. To complete the look, the upper tongue is adorned in blaze orange and KAWS’ iconic XX graphic is etched on the front of the white midsole. The pair also benefits from khaki and orange lined lacing, and a heel stacking up to the cut-out foam collar.
