American artist-designer Brian Donnelly, known worldwide as KAWS, unveils a new colorway of his Nike Blazer Low sacai collaboration. After iterations released last March and October (article available HERE), the 4th version is dressed in a bold color combination.
This silhouette is part of the KAWS x sacai Fall/Winter 2021 “Wearable Art” collection.
For this new opus, the American designer’s maximalist style is retained, as well as Chitose Abe’s signature leather or suede lined elements.
This new version is dressed in a majority purple colorway, especially on the leather upper. The base is complemented by blue and pink accents on the side double Swoosh, and grey and red on the overlapping eyelets. To complete the design, the upper tongue is presented in purple and the lower in lime green. These 2 colors also correspond to the 2 sets of overlapping laces. To affirm the collab, the iconic KAWS XX graphic is engraved on the front of the multi-stacked white midsole and is featured alongside the tongue and insole co-branding.
