Artist-designer Kanye West surprises us with the unexpected release of the first piece of the YEEZY x GAP partnership : a down jacket.

This weekend, the Atlanta rapper was photographed on the streets of L.A. wearing a bright blue down jacket, a seemingly odd choice in the sweltering heat. In fact, this shoot was advertising the first drop of the YEEZY GAP line.
Another surprising detail, Kanye West was wearing a pair of Nike Vanda Terminator, an infidelity to adidas that says a lot or not ? … To be continued.
As for the down jacket, it’s made with recycled nylon and is adorned with a bold pool blue color. It features a minimalist design with no visible pockets, closures or branding details and is adorned with a puffy look. The collaboration is simply notified on the inner neck tag with the YEEZY GAP logo.
The Kanye West YEEZY x GAP blue down jacket is currently available for pre-order for US customers only at gap.com/yeezy. The price is set at 200$ and the item will ship in fall 2021.
