In these difficult times punctuated by the global health crisis, Brexit and ongoing wars (among others), the famous German brand KangaROOS unveils a new project advocating love and unity : « ROOS UNITED ». At the same time, a first collab is born, the Morprime x Tommy Triggah Racer Hybrid « Inside Job ».
KangaROOS brings together people who share the same passion for culture, quality, design and sustainability, without worrying about hype, just for the love of the sneaker.
Defending the beautiful values of union and mutual aid, KangaROOS wants to bring people together with this project that connects sneakerheads and connoisseurs from all over Europe. Here is the principle : 2 partners form a team and combine their inspirations on a MIG sneaker of their choice. The philosophy behind the ROOS UNITED project is to give free rein to the imagination and enjoy a fruitful exchange of ideas.
The first team to present their project is the passionate Morgan Weekes aka @morprime and Tom Römer aka @tommy_triggah. These 2 consumer-collectors have designed an « immensely wearable » shoe that uses materials and colors they love. The 2 fellows chose an iconic but underrated running silhouette that is rarely used for collabs : the Racer Hybrid. Named « Inside Job », this high-end, handcrafted sneaker from Germany comes in a brown, beige and black color combination with a touch of grey. As for its construction, this MiG benefits from several premium technical mesh, high quality nubuck and touches of reflective 3M. The tongue appears in neoprene and highlights the KangaROOS branding with its contrasting red color. To affirm the collaboration, Morprime and Tommy Triggah logos are embossed on the heel tip. The whole is based on a white midsole with DYNACOIL technology combined with a black outsole that elegantly finalizes the design.

KangaROOS also has another project underway, the ROOS iD. As a first step, the tongue of a Made in Germany sneaker will be customizable… Afterwards other options will be revealed. Stay tuned !
