I told you about it in an article available HERE. Today, it’s with the pair at my feet that I suggest you to discover it.
In accordance with the Chinese tradition, the Kangaroos Coil R1 features symbols of luck. We find references to the Chinese currency “The Renminbi”, symbol of hope for many benefits during the year. Also a lucky bow is hung on the laces and the rat emblem applied to the tongue, which is an additional good-luck charm. The sneaker is red and gold because in China, in line to mythological imagination, these colours help to hunt a man-eater monster who comes back every year.
The pair consists of a calf suede upper and recycled PET materials. The whole is based on a Dynacoil sole.
Once again, Kangaroos offers us a successful project, with a real theme well represented on the pair. The quality of the materials and the finishes are exceptional. This is a real collector’s shoe, handmade and limited to just over 300 pairs worldwide. If I had one advice to give you, it will be to invest in this kind of sneakers that exudes excellence.
