New Balance’s loyal and solid partner, JOE FRESHGOODS, teases a new collaboration with California-based brand VANS. After revisiting the legendary Old Skool LX during the summer, the talented Chicago designer is preparing us for the cold winter weather with a special MTE Slip Hiker LX boot.
Joe Freshgoods is one of the most popular collaborators of the moment. His collaborations with New Balance are real successes (several articles available on this site) and his second project with Vans seems just as exciting.
The famous designer took to his Instagram account to unveil a brand new pair of Vans MTE boots, dressed in gourmand and attractive colors that now appear as his signature.
The photo highlights the shoe’s outsole and the lower part of the upper.
The sturdy lugged outsole is tinted in bright pink with touches of forest green. At its center, the Vans MTE (Mountain Edition) logo stands out in relief, designating the model as a boot intended for outdoor activities. The titular color, hot pink, is also found on the upper, which appears to be constructed from a quilted textile material. Dark pink leather overlays and a white midsole with a forest green heel insert elegantly and harmoniously complete the design. The pair benefits from a Vans heel badge and most certainly Joe Freshgoods branding on other parts of the foot, such as the tongue.
