Just hours before the launch of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance « Inside Voices » apparel assortment (article available HERE), the Chicago-based designer reveals the release date for the NB 9060 duo.
The NB 9060 is one of the latest models from the Boston-based manufacturer.
To introduce this new shoe, New Balance proceeds in the same way as for the NB 327 two years ago : through a renowned collab. After teaming up with CASABLANCA on the 327, the sportswear brand is teaming up with Joe Freshgoods, the creator and art director of its « Conversations Amongst Us » campaign for the launch of the 9060.
Teased for several weeks, these collaborative NB 9060s are highly anticipated by fans of Joe Freshgoods’ style and fans of New Balance’s designs combining comfort, aesthetics and performance.
The shoe comes in 2 eye-catching colorways : « Penny Cookie Pink » and « Baby Shower Blue ». The 1st version features a blush pink and beige color palette with a touch of clay green, and the 2nd is dressed in cream and sky blue with pastel pink accents.
This NB 9060 features a mesh upper complemented by suede and leather overlays. In a harmonious style, the side N logo and laces match the upper. The model number is emblazoned on the contrasting tongue tag and on the sewn-in quarter panel tag. To affirm the collab, the JFG logo stands out on the insole and heel tab, and the words « Inside » and « Voices » are embroidered on the heels. Comfort is accentuated by a padded inner lining and a bold chunky sole.
The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 9060 « Inside Voices » will be released on May 20, 2022 for $180 per pair. The « Baby Shower Blue » colorway is announced as a Joe Freshgoods exclusive (joefreshgoods.com), while the « Penny Cookie Pink » will be available at select retailers. Be ready !
