The Montreal design studio JJJJOUND has managed to impose its name in the sneaker game thanks to the great success of its collabs with New Balance (several articles available on this site). A few days after the release of the reimagined Asics GEL-Kayano 14 duo, Justin Saunders’ label continues to gain popularity by partnering with the legendary PUMA brand.
JJJJOUND has put its minimalist touch on another legendary silhouette, the Suede.
In the same spirit as previous collabs with other leading brands, Justin Saunders kept the DNA of the iconic shoe and made very few changes.
According to the first preview, this special Suede is declined in 2 understated, clear and elegant colors : grey and beige.
It consists of a suede upper in the main color, with matching laces and completed with white side stripes. The white leather heel insert is adorned with gold JJJJOUND branding that mimics the traditional « PUMA » on the quarter panel. To complete the look and affirm the collab, the white insole features a repeating navy blue JJJJOUND branding. A white sole harmoniously completes the look.
The JJJJound x PUMA Suede will be released in limited edition and exclusively in China during Fall/Winter 2022. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
