Continuing its successful projects, the design studio JJJJOUND teases a new part of its collaboration with the famous equipment manufacturer NEW BALANCE. After reworking the 990v4 last month (article available HERE), Justin R. Saunders’ label seems to be interested in the previous version of this silhouette, the NB 990v3, and dresses it in a green colorway.
JJJJound has already put his spin on the NB 990v3 in 2018. Declined in brown, this collab had marked the launch of the partnership between the 2 brands. Highly sought after, the pair is priced above 3000$ on the resell market.
The new version comes in a green assembly, appearing as a nod to the NB 992 collaborative released earlier.
It features a lime green mesh upper with tonal soft suede overlays. The iconic side N logo is dressed up in all black, as is the inner lining and tongue branding finishes. To complete the look, silver accents stand out on the heel tab, heel clip, and upper tongue. The JJJJOUND branding is discreetly placed on the heel, above the New Balance logos. The whole is based on a white and cream ENCAP midsole, coupled with a black rubber outsole.
