Justin Saunders’ design studio, JJJJOUND, continues to bring us interesting collaborative projects. After a recent association with American brand DANNER (article available HERE), the Montreal-based company is teaming up with iconic Japanese label BAPE.
Justin Saunders gave a first look on Instagram of the famous BAPE STA silhouette reinterpreted with a JJJOUND twist.
The shoe sports a sleek, understated look. It features a pristine white premium leather upper with matching overlays. The tongue, laces and inner lining are also dressed in white. A nice touch of contrast is provided by the light grey side shooting star logo. This same shade was chosen to define the BAPE STA branding on the tongue, heel tab and outsole. A metallic silver upper eyelet and a white midsole complete the design. The pair will come in a special box, covered in Bape’s signature ABC Camo print, here in grey, with the JJJJOUND branding appearing in gold.
The JJJJOUND x BAPE STA is scheduled for release in the Spring/Summer 2022 collection. It will be available via jjjjound.com. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
