Famous fashion designer Jeremy Scott unveils a new part of his partnership with German giant ADIDAS. While the release date of the collaborative Forum Wings 4.0 ‘Opal Pack’ has just been announced (February 22, 2023), a reinvented Superstar has just surfaced.
This iconic model reimagined by Jeremy Scott sports a ‘Money’ look, which has already inspired previous collabs.
The shoe consists of a sky blue leather upper covered in green and black « Bank Notes » patterns featuring the adidas Trefoil logo and $ symbol, as well as the motto ‘IN ADIDAS WE TRUST’. This base is completed with 3-Stripes and a leather heel tab in white color. The inner lining, the legendary rubber shell on the toe box and the sole are also dressed in pristine white. In addition to the ‘Money’ print, the originality of this exclusive version lies in the extra long tongue that appears as an ‘accordion’, a nod to the bills folded before being put in the wallet or trouser pocket. Branding details on the upper tongue and heel are gold-tone.
The Jeremy Scott x adidas Superstar « Money » will be released on December 21, 2022 for $150, at select retailers like SVD and on adidas.com.
