Asics has teamed up with the Japanese designer brand Jantje Ontembaar to offer us a pack composed of two colorways, based on the silhouette of the Kayano 5 Gel.
This brand, available only in Japan, is distinguished by original collections and collaborations with designer brands around the world. When you think of Jantje, you quickly associate it with « originality and premium quality ».
The two pairs consist of an upper filled with prints and bright colours, in dominant shades of blue for one pair, and multicoloured for the other. These seem to reflect the image of the brand’s next textile collection. We find purple stripes on both pairs. The whole is based on a white midsole and a purple outsole.
It seems that the Jantje Ontembaar X Asics Gel Kayano 5 pack is an exclusivity available only in Japan. A raffle ending on June 19 was set up. It’s up to you to find a contact in Japan to play for you. Good luck !
